Ruth Kennelly, RK Designs
Ruth Kennelly's Design Studio is aptly based in the 18th century courtyard of Marley Park House, along with other artists and creatives. Ruth's design foundations lie in her background in fine art and antiques, an interest which reflects in her work with clients who are looking to create uniquely bespoke homes.
Her own art collection features uplifting pieces by Irish botanical artist Yanny Petters, as well as Mike Fitzharris and Brian Ballard, whom are showcased in her kitchen gallery wall in her own home.
Ruth's client portfolio is diverse from small to large residential projects, as well as commercial work all over Ireland. Her work extends to the homes of many international and Irish celebrities
Ruth is also a design media contributor with publications such as Irish Times, Sunday Business Post and Design and Build Magazine.
Ciara Drennan, Drennan Interiors
Ciara’s passion for colour, interior architecture and fabric led her to switch from a business to a creative career in interior design 20 years ago. For many years she operated a full service design business including full project management and fit out, however, her work today is purely interior design consultation sessions with people in their homes.
From 'designer for a day' packages to one hour consultations, she works with people who want to create their perfect home, offering practical advice on colours, layout, lighting, furniture and fabrics. Ciara also works with clients who are building new houses or renovating existing homes advising them how to best utilize their internal spaces - often tweaking architects drawings to suit their requirements.
Ciara claims that a full project service is not for everyone, people want practical advice on colours, fabrics, furniture and lighting along with reputable suppliers and craftspeople who will deliver for them. They want to create their own mark and enjoy the process and she confidently sets them on their way!
